although I started this bear a few days before Knut passed, Knut had been my polar bear reference model for the last 4 years, and so I've decided to name this one 'Knutson' in his memory. representing Knutson as an adolescent, he is about 18" long, 11" high at the ears & 9" at the shoulder (on all 4's). made of super dense, fluffy T...issavel faux fur with leather paws, claws and eyelids. for a fun vignette, I made him 3 special bronze leather 'tin' cans, featuring 'mischief' brand Alaska canned salmon - the polar bears choice! Knutson has 14 joints and a full neck and spine + a poseable tail.
